BREK DANCE

DANCE: The Break Dance Breaking or is an urban dance that is part of the Hip-Hop culture emerged in African-American communities of New York City neighborhoods like the Bronx and Brooklyn in 70. Although it would reach a higher recognition in the decade 80, through the influence of artists like James Brown, and movies like Breakin 'and Beat Street movement that spread to European and Latin American countries. The term was imposed by the media to the dance known as B-Boying, and originally named by a significant number of practitioners (B-boys). It is thought that this name had commercial reasons, so some "B-boys" prefer to keep calling his dancing original mode.


ELEMENTS THAT MAKE PART THE BREAK DANCE

Dancing : It is a dance that combines a series of aerobic and rhythmic movements, influenced from aboriginal dances, martial arts, gymnastics, and funk. The list of movements is enormous and requires great dedication and discipline to be performed. The B-boying movements can be categorized into four branches or styles: Top Rock (dance above), footwork (footwork), power moves (movement power) and freeze (you freeze in a posture).


Movements :These are the kinds of movements. top-Rocking, Foot-woorking, freezes, PowerMoves.


Battles :There are clashes between B-Boys (singles, pairs or crews, as stated). To determine the winner qualifies the "Top Rocking or style" (style feet or above), "Footworks or ponies" (Style of flat or down), the "Powermoves" (Movements of power) and "Freezes" (The I is BBoy is "frozen" in a particular position). Moreover it also qualifies originality, listen to music or keep up, explosive movements (ie, movements with lots of energy), planting movements (basic dance steps, usually slightly rated), creative movement and fluency with which we combine. THE break dance is one of the most exciting dance in Latin America

FESTIVAL VIALTERNA 

The Department of Culture, Recreation and Sports and its affiliated entities have created the District Incentives Program that seeks to promote and strengthen the fields of Art, Culture and Heritage by providing incentives for the development and visibility of cultural, artistic and economic practices. 


The festival brings Víalterna events like break dance, street dance, street art, graffiti, DJ, rap and Parkour.

URBAN ART 

 

The Rap Freestyle or freestyle best known for rounds that are formed in the middle of the expression of urban art, is an improvised form of rapping (fluent rhyming words to a beat), implying that there are no written letters or made previously, directly reflecting the mental state of the mc (or who improvise) and the current situation of the artist or their environment. Freestyle Rap is not written or rehearsed, no censorship, and is the most pure and raw form of Hip Hop. It is easy to start art, but it takes years to perfect. Often artists (freestylers) make immediate places and objects around references. Freestyle Rap forces the individual to think at one point (a shot or some thematic), and to some extent, rapping along with some rhymes that context, without putting limits or censorship. The Freestyle also has much appeal regarding artistic one has to think of certain rhyme and instantly formulate in his mind other possible or thematic rhymes for "spit" but according to the rhymes or sounding like this.



Music of urban art, makes 2 elements: 

MC :Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating music using phonograph turntables and .One Turntable early hip hop DJs Kool DJ Herc was, who created hip hop through the isolation of "Breaks" (parts albums that focused solely on the beat). In addition to developing Herc's techniques, Grandmaster Flowers, Grandmaster Flash, Grand Wizard Theodore, and Grandmaster Caz made ​​further innovations with the introduction of scratching.  


DJ :The Rap undergound (also known as emceeing, MCing, Spitting, or just rhymin) refers to "spoken or sung lyrics with a strong rhythmic accompaniment Rhymes". It can be broken down into different components, such as "content", "Speed" or "flow" (rhythm and rhyme), and "delivery". Rapping is distinct from spoken poetry and theater as it is done according to the rhythm of music or more specifically the Beat beat and no melody. The use of the word "rap" to describe quick speech and "slangy" or replicated long predates the musical form. MCing is a form of expression that is inserted into the ancient African culture which was transmitted orally maintaining tradition and "verbal acrobatics" as part of the story imply that "rhymes" were common in the African community -Americanas that formed with the arrival of African slaves to America.

URBAN ART 

Graffiti painting is the result of abstract texts on the walls of free and unlimited creative expression purposes and where disclosure is essentially seeking to be change and evolve visual appeal and high impact, as part of a revolutionary urban movement and rebellious as one of the four parts of the branches of hip hop.

GRAFFITI 

The boom of graffiti in Bogota, where over 4,000 young people every day become the capital in a large open-air museum, has led to a novel advertising industry which provides alternative business promotion and recognizes the work of artists. 


This is an initiative of Vertigo Graffiti, a company created in 2009 and the only one in Colombia that "promotes urban art through advertising campaigns and interior design," said its executive director, Alejandro Cardenas, in an interview with Colombia.inn operated by EFE.


"We understand that a wall is not going to change the world or the mentality of the people, but gradually see other information on the street makes people wonder about the world in which they live," said Andrés
